Privacy policy

Last updated 24 August 2026. There is not much to say, which is the point.

What we collect

• Waitlist email. If you submit the form on the home page, or email us directly, we store the address you gave us and the time you gave it. That is the only personal data we deliberately collect.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard request logs, including IP address, user agent, and requested URL, for security and operations. These are held briefly and not used to build profiles.
• Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore makes a request to Google, which sees your IP address, subject to Google’s privacy policy. We intend to self-host fonts and remove this dependency.

What we do not collect

No accounts, no passwords, no payment details, no advertising trackers, no analytics scripts, and no cookies set by us. The site does not use local storage to identify you. If that changes, this page will change first.

Why we hold the email

To tell you when live alerts and paid tiers launch, and for nothing else. We do not sell, rent, or share addresses. Legal basis under UK GDPR: your consent, which you gave by submitting the form and can withdraw by emailing luke@sleeperlot.com. We delete the address on request and, in any case, within twelve months of the last message we send you if you have not signed up for anything.

Marketplace data is not about you

The auction data behind our estimates is public listing information. It describes items, not people. We never store seller identities, buyer identities, or bidder histories, and we discard individual listing records once they are no longer publicly available on their source, keeping only aggregate statistics.

Where data lives

Static site and waitlist storage: Cloudflare (global edge; data may be processed outside the UK under Cloudflare’s standard contractual clauses). Collection and analysis servers: Hetzner, Germany. Email: Zoho.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use. Email luke@sleeperlot.com; we answer within a month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

We will update the date above whenever this policy changes materially.
